Ambleside Local Area Plan Commercial Area

As part of the ongoing process, a Draft Plan has been prepared for the Ambleside Commercial Areas. These draft plans are a result of findings from community engagement in the fall of 2024.
The LAP will outline the long-range vision for the area, provide more detailed regulations and guidelines to shape the form and character of new development, and confirm the local policy response to planning topics like housing, the local economy, mobility, and the public realm. Now is your chance to help shape Ambleside for future generations!
