Ambleside Local Area Plan Implemented

After many decades of planning and meaningful community engagement, we are pleased to see that the Ambleside Local Area Plan has now been approved by the Ministry of Housing. While this process has taken many turns, and while no community relishes having its hand forced, this decision brings much-needed clarity at a time when Council had reached an impasse. Ultimately, moving forward was essential, and this milestone represents both progress and a renewed sense of momentum for Ambleside. Learn more
