A New Mexican Restaurant is Coming to Ambleside!
We’re excited to welcome a new family-owned Mexican restaurant to West Vancouver!
While many of us still fondly remember the iconic Mangia e Bevi, we’re thrilled to see this space coming back to life with a new local dining experience. Interestingly, when the ADBIA conducted its Imagine Ambleside survey in 2020, one of the most requested types of restaurants residents wanted to see was Mexican cuisine. It’s wonderful to see that vision becoming a reality.
The owners are no strangers to the North Shore. They successfully operated a restaurant in North Vancouver for several years before relocating to Langley. After a devastating fire forced the closure of their business a few years ago, they’ve been searching for the right place to start their next chapter and West Vancouver has always been at the top of their list.
They are currently hard at work renovating and transforming the space, with plans to open this fall. We can’t wait to welcome them to the neighbourhood and will be sure to share more details as they become available. Stay tuned!
Batch Ambleside Finally Reopens!
After opening last summer, Batch quickly became a much-loved addition to the Ambleside waterfront. Offering a carefully curated selection of local beer, wine, and cider, along with a welcoming atmosphere, it was a fantastic gathering place for residents and visitors throughout the season.
The success of their first year showed just how much the community was looking for a vibrant waterfront destination where people could relax, connect with friends, and enjoy local offerings.
We are so excited to welcome the Batch team back and look forward to seeing the waterfront come alive again. Be sure to stop by, say hello, and support this wonderful addition to our community! They will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, weather dependent.

Kendall, the owner, embodies the spirit of a dedicated small business owner, tirelessly offering excellent services to our community while also championing fellow small businesses. The ADBIA believes in businesses supporting each other, looking out for one another, recommending each other to clients, and showcasing others, not just themselves. Kendall exemplifies what it means to be a small business owner and we are grateful for her efforts in supporting other local businesses.
Savary Island Pie Company
Did you know that Savary Island Pie Company has a satellite location at Municipal Hall? They’re open during Municipal Hall hours, serving coffee, cold drinks, sandwiches, treats, and more. It’s a fantastic spot for community gatherings and offers a lovely space for meetings or a quiet chat.
